Plans for this plane were published in Model Airplane News in 1992. I built one back then and a few buddies did as well. It’s a good flying plane. Mine had an OS 20 on the nose. It was a favorite of mine for a few years.

For this one, I decided on 64mm EDF units from Motion RC and a 3S/4000 battery with dual 30 amp ESCs. According to my amp meter, each one pulls right at 29-30 at full throttle on the bench.
I used small Kroger brand vinegar bottles (99 cents) for the nacelles that fit perfectly around the housing of the EDFs. For the platform for the engines, I used 1/8 lite ply that is laminated on one side with carbon fiber cloth.

This is a really stable plane. It flies slow and tracks well at slow speeds. It’s a fun build. Give one a try.
